I'm back in Sentul!

I've arrived safely back in Sentul!
It's always been easy for me to transition back and forth between Indiana and Indonesia, thankfully.
I was supposed to hang out in O'Hare only for 3 hours til my flight left for Hong Kong. Unfortunately, the flight ended up being delayed for 5 more hours because of a mechanical issue. United compensated by giving us all free snacks and drinks, AND they had each passenger fill out a form to get a flight certificate, whatever that means! (Not sure if it's domestic or international or what, but I can't wait to find out!) Yay for United! :)
The good thing about that delay was that I was sincerely tired during the 13-hour flight, which meant I got a lot of sleep then.
We weren't in Hong Kong very long. We left HK at 11 p.m. and arrived into Singapore at 3 a.m. My school arranged for me to stay that night in a transit hotel in the airport. So I checked in, but I had time only to shower, not to sleep, because my next flight was at 7:45. But the shower was worth it, and the breakfast on the plane (Singapore Airlines) was great! (SA's one of the best in the world, by the way.)
The only drawback was that my big, batik bag I'd used as my carry-on got horribly ripped up in Singapore. Bummer. But I got a very nice, nonharrassing taxi driver at the airport when I arrived in sunny, polluted Jakarta, so my morning's been nice.
While I was in Singapore, I took a photo of Reese's to prove to people that I'm not lying about how expensive they are there!

$18.40! Granted, that's Singaporean dollars, but it converts to U.S. $13.40. Ridiculous!

(And no, I didn't buy any!)

I've been home for about 2 hours, chilling on my couch with my computer, music, and air conditioner. I feel like unpacking my suitcase with my brand-new bedsheets so that I can finally sleep on a full set of matching bedsheets in Indonesia. And then I'll take a nap.

I'll update again next week or so, when things start happening. :)
